a bit about me :)
I’m Jess. I love connection, creativity, passion, fire! and having fun ;)
I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and bodyworker.
Film brought me to bodywork. Bodywork led me back to film. So this is what I offer…
Massage that holds what’s been unsaid in the body, and storytelling that gives it voice.
I’ve always found it hard to say what was really on my heart. Film became the way I could express what I couldn’t put into words.
That led me to a Bachelor in Screen Production, where I became a filmmaker at AFTRS - the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
I’ve been telling stories since I was little with cameras, making short films, documenting life.
Film gave me a way to express what I couldn’t say out loud.
For the past five years, I’ve also run my own photography and filmmaking business capturing people, moments, feelings and learning more and more about the power of story.
But somewhere along the way, I lost my connection to it. I stopped creating from the heart and started creating from pressure to succeed, to prove myself, to be seen.
And that pulled me away from why I started in the first place. Halfway through, I felt stuck. Disconnected. A little bit shitty, to be honest. I didn’t just want to tell stories - I wanted to live them. To feel deeper. To go deeper.
That’s when I found bodywork. It might seem like a big jump - from film to massage - but to me, it was the same search. For connection. For truth. For a way to understand and feel each other without the need for words that get in the way.
I started exploring touch through bodywork workshops, dipping my toes into Thai massage in Thailand. Eventually, I found KaHuna bodywork and trained at High Spirits Retreat, an internationally recognised massage school. I’m forever grateful to this place, to Mette & the beautiful team of facilitators… it truly changed my life.
Through this, I discovered a new kind of storytelling, one that lives in the body. A way of connecting that doesn’t rely on language, but on presence, breath, and nurturing touch.
And then, film started calling me back. As something I could love again. On my own terms.
My offerings come straight from the heart. They’re rooted in the stories that live inside all of us… the ones we carry in our bodies, and the ones that shape our lives.
Whether I’m holding you through touch or holding space behind the camera, my heart is with yours.
I’m here to support you, to help you release what no longer serves, to come home to yourself, to be witnessed, to be felt, and to connect - with your body, your story, and with others.
This is the work I love, and I’m so glad you’re here.
